2024 Strategic Planning Goals

At the beginning of each year our coalition comes up with goals to help us achieve our mission: to reduce falls in our senior population through awareness, education, and access to effective prevention programs and resources.

Recruit new memberships:
Invite primary care providers to become members.

Develop new Partnerships:
Establish partnerships with hospitals to include falls prevention information in their discharge plans.

Sponsor events:
Provide falls prevention bingo in Clay and Platte Counties during Older Americans Month. Integrate a Falls Prevention segment into Platte County Senior Fair and Clay County Senior Resource Fair.

Promote awareness and education:
Distribute falls prevention education materials to Meals on Wheels participants and Food Distribution Events.
